DT-75K

Universal tracked vehicles DT-75 belong to the third traction class and are characterized by high design reliability. Initially, four-cylinder SMD-75 engines with a capacity of 14 liters were installed on the DT-75. with. The powerful frame structure is welded from spars (2 pcs), united by strong pipes.

Cabin
The pressurized cabin for two places is mounted on springs. The driver's seat is adjustable. Inside the cabin, ventilation and a stove are built in. The cabin of the DT-75 tractors of the second generation has been improved. Its dimensions and viewing angle have increased, a slight asymmetry has appeared, which made it possible to install a more capacious and capacious fuel tank outside near the side of the cab.

First run, run-in
This procedure lasts 8-10 hours. The engine warms up and runs without load for the first few hours. All systems, transmissions, etc. are checked. Gradually, the loads increase and are brought to ¾ of the power of the power plant. At the end of the run-in, the oil must be changed.
Maintenance
The instructions contain a table for a scheduled inspection of a caterpillar tractor (according to the hours worked), which includes an oil change. This procedure begins with warming up the engine. The oil heats up slightly and circulates through the system more easily. When the oil is drained, you need to drain and work out. Then the filters and centrifugal cleaner are cleaned.
The following brands of motor oils are used for DT-75 tractors:

Checking the hydraulic system requires checking the oil pressure. Pressure less than 1 kgf/cm3 requires cleaning the filters and adding oil. If it has risen to the mark of 2,5 kgf / cm2 or more, it is necessary to wash the filters with the obligatory draining of the oil.
The hydraulic oils of the following grades are used for the hydraulic system:
- 15W-40;
- TAP-15v.
Basic malfunctions and ways to eliminate them
